HyperParasite: 80s Kids Make Their Dream Game in 2020

Here at Troglobytes, we were all born in the 1980s, surrounded by pop culture that was characterized by cheesy action movies and classic video games.
You can tell that by having a look at our small studio – the walls are plastered with action movie posters and we also collect vintage consoles and games from that era.
We have an arcade cabinet in the office with Avenging Spirit running on it. One day, as we were taking a break from developing and getting our fix of retro gaming, we were suddenly struck by its concept: you played as a ghost that could possess various characters.
We then asked ourselves: why don’t we make a game that features all of the best things we loved from the 1980s: wrestlers, aliens, renegades, green berets, etc., combined with the possession mechanics?
With so many great options to choose from, we were not able to decide who the protagonist of this game could be, and that’s how HyperParasite came to be: a game in which you can control them all!

Curious Expedition: Survival Tips for Your Journey

Hello! We’re Maschinen-Mensch, an independent game studio based in Berlin, and today we’re happy to present Xbox One players with Curious Expedition, our roguelike simulation game, available today for Xbox One on the Microsoft Store. We’ve put together a small guide to help you navigate this complex and challenging game in order to keep your explorer alive.
The game is made up of a series of 6 expeditions, each larger and more difficult than the last. The goal of each expedition is to discover and explore the Golden Pyramid in each map, and hopefully bring back items to increase your fame and fortune.
You can choose from 7 explorers from the start of the game, and you’ll be able to unlock more as you play. Selecting your explorer is important and depends on your strategy. Beginners should start with Charles Darwin for combat practice, or Marie Curie for pacifist runs.

Discover the Legend of the Dragons with Black Desert’s Newest Region, Drieghan

Black Desert has opened a brand-new region for its adventurers to explore on Xbox One. The region of Drieghan’s mythical peaks and pristine waterfalls conceal a deep history of ancient wars between humans and dragons that eradicated the last of the dragons, save one.
Long ago, Drieghan was inhabited by the powerful Sherekhans who slew the dragons that terrorized the land in the Great Battle. Although victorious, many Sherekhans lost their lives. To commemorate those lost, and immortalize their victory, they created the Sherekhan Necrolopis – a vast graveyard with a Sherekhan statue paying homage to their sacrifice. Many moons later, it is rumored there are still artifacts hidden deep in the Necrolopis that reveal the secrets of the Sherekhan and the Great Battle.

Team Up with Sam Fisher in Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Deep State

Ghost Recon Breakpoint‘s second episode is out now for Xbox One players everywhere. In Deep State, the Ghosts join forces with Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher in an eight-mission campaign called Operation Checkmate. Year One Pass owners have immediate access to Operation Checkmate, while all other players will have access to the first mission and can purchase access to the rest if they like from Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s in-game store for Ghost Coins. Deep State also introduces two new classes: the drone-wielding Engineer and the stealthy Echelon. Both classes are out now for Year One Pass owners and will be available to all other players in one week. Introducing ID@Xbox Spotlight! Shining a Light on Games From Independent Developers

Every year, starting at the Game Developers Conference and continuing through many other trade shows and cons throughout the year we’re excited to show off a ton of awesome games – some being announced for the first time on Xbox, and others that are just great games that we’re super stoked about and want to get on folks’ radar.
Given the global situation right now, of course, we’re not able to show off games to press and players in person, so we’re excited to announce a new series of videos on the ID@Xbox YouTube Channel that will highlight independent developers – ID@Xbox Spotlight.

Terraria: The Digital Utopia on Xbox One

The Terraria official Xbox hub is overflowing with passion and legendary player-generated content. We love our fiercely loyal community and cherish their epic builds, hilarious memes, and gorgeous fan art.
